Is the reason I am having difficulty installing version 27.20.100.8854 is because this driver update is actually incompatible with an 8th gen Core i7-8700 processor ? I should not need to uninstall the UHD 630 driver before installing this latest available update. The driver version currently installed is 27.20.100.8681 I've tried multiple times to install this update and each time an error occurs that I already have the most recent driver version installed. They've told me that this update addresses the Intel Security Advisory INTEL-SA-00438 and that I should be able to install it. I've already contacted the OEM twice asking why this driver update is being made available when I do not have a 9th gen processor. The OEM states in the description that this UHD graphics driver is for 9th gen Intel processors. The driver version that has just been made available is 27.20.100.8854 ![]() I have an 8th gen Core i7-8700 processor. My OEM made an urgent update available for the UHD 630 graphics driver.
